POCKET DRAGONS™ The Dragon with an Attitude!
They're ageless, genderless and have everyday expressions, wrapped in green magic - with wings. Real Musgrave is the creator of The Whimsical World of Pocket Dragons and, together with his wife, Muff, they inhabit an enchanted world that inspires the little green creatures and their friends. In 1989, Real created his first sculpted Pocket Dragon for Collectible World Studios and thus "The Whimsical World of Pocket Dragons" was born. Acclaimed as one of the world's foremost artists of whimsy, Real Musgrave is a master at mixing magic and fantasy with real-life situations and gentle humor. The result is, of course , Pocket Dragons.
Unlike other mythical figurines, Pocket Dragons are not-made-up characters but are, instead, modeled on the pets and people close to Real in his life. Foremost in this group is Muff, his best friend/soul mate/business partner,/creative muse, all rolled into one wonderful wife. "People ask me where I get my ideas and I explain that I just look at my wife and pets," he explains, "and then 'act' as a camera for what I see them do." Products currently include, but are not limited to, figurines, Limited Editions, Ornaments, and Messages.
